I am William Khoo, a Cloud DevOps Engineer. I live in Wellington, New Zealand (also known as Aotearoa - land of the long white cloud).

My cloud journey began in 2018 simply as an end-user of public cloud providers - AWS, Azure, OCI. It was not until 2022 that I decided to specialise in AWS and join a leading AWS Partner in New Zealand.

As a late bloomer, I found it was rather overwhelming to catch up and be able to consume the abundant knowledge since the advent of public cloud computing in circa 2006.

Perseverance pays off as they said. With many hours dedicated to training and hands-on, reading technical documentation, whitepapers, forum and blog posts, I am proud to be 12x AWS certified today.

The journey does not stop however. I started this blog site to share my cloud experience and knowledge, to do my bit to contribute to the community and to help others to learn to do everything cloud.
